Lyndsey’s existing website had become outdated and wasn’t looking or performing as she had hoped. We decided a complete redesign and build was the best solution.
Lyndsey already had a logo in place for Beauty Shed so I used this to put together a colour scheme for her new website. As the website was primarily aimed towards women, I took on a more feminine approach with my design using feminine colours and floral background images.
Beauty Shed offers a large range of treatments so I felt it was important to manage these in a way that was easy for the client. I created a specific treatment page for each category which made the website easier to navigate. Each category gives a description of the treatments available, prices and a downloadable price list. This makes it easy for visitors to find what they are looking for.
WooCommerce has been integrated into this website, allowing Lyndsey to sell products online as well as in her salon. Lyndsey is able to easily manage her products, stock levels and orders directly within the sites WordPress Dashboard.
Lyndsey already had a booking system in place so we integrated this into the website. This allows visitors to book and pay for their appointment easily within the website itself.
A blog has also been including which is the perfect way to share beauty tips and encourage more traffic to the website through organic SEO.
Lyndsey has been amazing to work with on this project and someone who I continue to work closely with on a monthly basis.
